I was born in West Virginia, raised in Vermont, and settled in Charlottesville, Virginia. I have worked for fancy restaurants and country inns, and I have worn many hats in hospitality.

After hip replacement surgery in 2018, I am looking for a better occupational fit and flexing my creativity. I will work in hospitality until I don’t, so buy my stuff. Hahaha. Contact me if you want to discuss career change possibilities.

My creative works are original, not artificial intelligence. I am ok with using AI, but not when I am trying to show how capable I am. A lot of care and technical learning goes into my work, including this website. There is more to a picture than pushing a shutter button.
