Publishing issues

The pursuit of publishing my writing is evolving. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing provides a convenient platform, but I want to be published elsewhere, too. I am focusing my writing efforts on entering contests. Submitting published stories is a disqualifier for many competitions, so you will have to wait until I decide what stories are OK to share. With luck, I will add some prize-winning flash fiction and short stories to my portfolio. My big writing project is far from complete but is shaping up nicely.

I will publish “low or no content” paperback books on amazon.com once in a while. These kinds of books are novelty or activity-oriented and make ideal gifts. I currently have two of this style of book for sale:

“From the Bed to the Road: a Memoir by: _____” – a get-well card style journal.

“You do Haiku: a Poetry Tutorial and Workbook” – to inspire writing haiku for entertainment and mental health.

What activity books or kinds of stories do you enjoy?

More news and creations are on the way!

Best Wishes,

Martin E. Dodge
